Illustrator
I am Louis William, an illustrator from Hong Kong. I obtained my degree in illustration from a Hong Kong-based institution and have since amassed extensive experience in the field. I specialize in drawing the contours of animals. I endeavor to depict the graceful posture and vivid expressions of animals on paper, rendering their lines fluid and dynamic, thereby adding a lively atmosphere to my illustrations.
I particularly enjoy painting cats using watercolor techniques. The fluidity and subtlety of watercolors perfectly capture the grace. Cats, with their expressive eyes and graceful movements, provide endless inspiration.
In addition to cats, I have painted many other animals. My passion for painting animals stems from my deep appreciation for nature and the diverse beauty of the animal. Each animal has its own unique characteristics and charm, offering a wealth of inspiration.
In this remarkable series of portrait paintings, I have try on a creative journey to explore the human face through an innovative close-up approach. The portrait painting is a close-up depiction of the human face, capturing the subject's expressions and emotions. The portrait painting masterfully captures the delicate features and subtle nuances of the subject's expression.
These are some of my artworks from my student days. During my time as a student, I didn't limit myself to painting animals. I explored various subjects, including landscapes. This period was marked by experimentation and a desire to expand my artistic horizons, a deeper understanding of different artistic styles and techniques.
